PROJECT DELIVERABLES

To showcase Canon's latest innovations at tech's biggest stage — CES. The goal was to achieve 5 billion impressions through high- quality placements, grow foot traffic at the CES booth, and increase leads for Canon.

A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND
CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE

In partnership with director and long-time Canon user, M. Night Shyamalan, we created a first-of-its-kind immersive trailer. Using AR, VR, augmented imaging innovations, hyper-realistic environments built by two gaming engines, and an ominous forest in the center of a tech convention, we enabled people to actually step into the most anticipated film of 2023, Knock at the Cabin.

THE EXPERIENCE

Using Canon’s latest innovations, we re-imagined what a movie trailer could be - allowing people to actually talk with the film’s characters, reenact scenes, and enter both physical and virtual sets.

We broke down pivotal moments of the film and invited people to experience the hair-raising, blood-rushing moments as if they were really happening. And we did it all on tech’s biggest stage, CES (Consumer Electronics Show).

One of the biggest surprises at CES "

THE TECH-SPERIENCE

THE STAGE: We 3D mapped the set of the film and built an unmissable 10K sq. ft. forest complete with a 120’x80’ cabin, allowing people to actually step inside of the world of this film at the world’s largest tech conference, CES.

SCENE 1: Participants could step into the film and have real-time conversations with the film's characters stationed 2,500 miles away.

SCENE 2: A gamified mixed-reality experience allowed attendees to reenact an actual scene inside our physical cabin — using virtual objects. An inside-out escape room of sorts attracted a 3-hr long wait and welcoming visitors such as Martha Stewart.

SCENE 3: A world of digital sleuthing using Canon’s augmented camera software allowed participants to  inspect thoughtfully placed clues in an attempt to guess the signature M. Night twist of the movie.
